What is Counselling? Counselling can help you become more resilient, and help you to adapt effectively when dealing with challenges or change.

The function of counselling is primarily to assist, inform, guide, advise or educate you. The trained professional will help you manage communication difficulties, stress, anger management or parenting concerns.

Hypnosis

What does Hypnosis feel like?
For most people, hypnosis is a deeply relaxing and pleasurable experience. You always remain in control and are aware of what is being said. The trance state is a very natural and enjoyable altered state of awareness, similar to daydreaming or the feeling you have just before going to sleep.

How does it work?
Hypnosis guides you to a relaxed physical and mental state that allows you to contact your deeper mind, your Unconscious. Your unconscious mind stores information and memories, is in charge of many of your body's functions, and is also a deep well of creativity and knowledge.

Is hypnosis sleep?
No. Hypnosis is not sleep and although your eyes are closed, you do not normally feel that you are asleep. Most people are very aware of the sounds around them during hypnosis.

Will I lose control?
No. The hypnotist's role is to guide you through the different experiences. You will be very aware of what is going on during hypnosis, and your mind will reject anything that is contrary to your moral code or your values.

Will I reveal deep dark secrets?
No. While everyone has events in their past they may be ashamed of or may not want to talk about, in hypnosis your secrets remain your secrets.

What is Neuro Linguistic Programming? (NLP)
Using the power of your own mind, NLP helps you to break old beliefs and patterns of behaviour that no longer serve you. This releases your potential and improves the way you communicate, with yourself and with others.

What is Emotional Freedom Technique? (EFT)
Following the same energy meridians used in Chinese acupuncture, EFT is based on the principle that emotions stay with your body as blocked energy.

By tapping specific energy points on your body while focusing on emotions and issues like fear, panic, and pain, EFT releases blocked energy, which allows you to make quicker and gentler changes in your life.
